The start/finish area will be located at the St. Vital Duck Pond Shelter. Parking is available at the Duck Pond parking lot, see map below.
Training open to Manitoba Orienteering Association members, beginners and adventure racers! This is a great opportunity to learn about the sport of orienteering, brush-up on your existing skills or prepare for the upcoming Swamp Donkey Adventure Race!
The training will include:
Compass- Use and Bearings
Pace counting/Distance Estimation Exercise
CAR (Control - Attackpoint - Route/Precision Map/Features Eliminated Exercise
Rough Map/Red Light, Yellow Light, Green Light Exercise
Bring your signed forms and refreshments for yourselves.

Membership applications, if you are not already a Manitoba Orienteering Association (MOA) member, please complete the Membership application using either the online or printable option. Remember to read and complete the Waiver using either the online or printable option.
Declaration of Health form. Please print, read, complete and bring the Declaration of Health form. There is no online option available.
Cost $10 per person or $20 per family (family is up to 2 adults and any number of children in the same household).
Payable via PayPal, in addition to cash or cheque. Please select the Custom Payment option when paying online and enter the correct $10 per person or $20 per family. http://www.orienteering.mb.ca/payment.html
Please remember to bring your own refreshments (no water controls) and food.
