Come navigate the sandhills of Spruce Woods Provincial Park at this wilderness orienteering event.

The meet site is along Park Road, 11.4 km north of Highway 2. (Click "Directions" on the map below for the precise location.) The Cypress River picnic area on Highway 2 is 700 m west of Park Road.

A Provincial Park vehicle pass is required for this event.

Event entry costs $10 for adults and $5 for juniors, to be paid in cash on site. A 2019 MOA membership is included in this price.

Course Registration

Course 2

All controls are within 150 m of a trail or road. Suitable for complete beginners.

Distance: 2500m

Course 5

Controls are in the "middle of nowhere" but can be found without bushwhacking. Requires compass work and/or interpretation of contour lines.

Distance: 2700m

Course 8

Same technical difficulty as Course 5 but longer. Minimal bushwhacking required.

Distance: 4800m

Course 10

Same as Course 8 but even longer.

Distance: 7700m
