Map – Hog’s Back

Located in the Spruce woods Provincial Park, the map has been the location for 2009 Canadian Orienteering Championships (COCs) and 2013 Western Canadian Orienteering Championships (WCOCs). The map has 5m contours and is a mix of open grass covered sand dunes with thicker vegetation on the Northern slopes; always passable but best avoided if possible. Besides the vegetation being slow to change the map is used almost every year and kept up to date. A washroom is located at the event site.
